Organic vs. Inorganic Mulch
Anyone want to weigh in on it.
We have bark around the house now in our beds. We have to replace the mulch every year for a fresh look. It is always so much work. I am thinking about putting rock around our beds around the house. I like the look of rock.
Thoughts either way?

First, I've been told that bark is not a good mulch to use around the house, because it can attract carpenter ants. Maybe that's not a concern for you, but you're looking to switch anyway, so I guess it doesn't really matter.
