T&p's needed
So I was admitted to L&D today. I had an MFM appointment this AM to check on my funneling cervix. 2 weeks ago I had a 2cm funnel but cervix was nice and closed. They wanted to see me back in 4w, I saw my OB a week ago and told her I wasn't comfortable waiting 3 more weeks. Sure enough, I went in today and I was .5-1cm dilated today. I seriously wanted to thoat punch the MFM and say I told ya so, moron.
So it was a real shock to hear I was going to the hospital.. I've been here since 11:30am and its now 9pm. I'm looking at 2 days if they can keep the babies on the inside. No contractions. Baby boy is 1lb, 9oz and baby girl is 1lb, 6oz.
My baby boy is head down and so low, he seriously wants out and is going to give me a heart attack. It's been a rough day between steroids, magnesium (which was 30 mins of hell), and talking to neonatal docs about what were to happen should i go into labor. They keep talking to me like I'm going to go soon and I'm just trying to stay positive and hope they can keep cooking. I'd love another month, they'd be so much better off. Talking about 24w babies in the NICU is scary stuff.
Oh and the biggest of my problems right now? They won't let me eat anything other than the 2 meals I had today. No solid food and my meals were only liquid - all I've had today is broth, jello, and Italian ice. :-( :-( I'm growing two babies but I can't have any real food!! I literally cried earlier for food and yeah, nada.
