How often do you call into work?  What does it take for you to take an unscheduled or sick day?

  • I don't call in very often.  I have to be near death to actually take a sick day.  My supervisor has sent me home several times and told me to take care of myself.  Usually if I call in it's because of a snow storm.  We got 1

  • I call in sick once in awhile.  I get a lot of migraines and sometimes that can render me completely useless and nauseous.

  • When I was working I'd usually call in sick once or twice a month because of migraines. 

    They are hereditary from my mom's side and are so painful it hurts to breathe.

  • I almost never take a sick day...maybe like once a year, if that. I'm a grad student, so if I have an experiment going on in the lab I need to be here to take care of it. Sometimes, if I'm not feeling well, I'll come in to do what I have to do and then

  • I don't call out that often. I have had to miss a few more days this year because I finally have a dr. that tries to figure out what's going on with me. I've missed about 11 days since August (but five of those were for the honeymoon!). One and a half

  • I have to be dying to call in sick. I mean if its something i can spread to my co workers ill stay home but im the person that feels bad if i call out bc my students might need me or another counselor has to deal with one of my kids having a break down
