How often do you call into work? What does it take for you to take an unscheduled or sick day?

I used to never call in, and I had to be sent home. Usually when i'm sick, I'm SICK! Then I had a decent amount of hours (300 sick hours), I was calling out a bit more then before. But now I'm saving for ML in the future, s
I call in sick once in awhile. I get a lot of migraines and sometimes that can render me completely useless and nauseous.
I don't mind taking sick days. If it's a migraine and I feel like puking and I can't work, then I'll call
When I was working I'd usually call in sick once or twice a month because of migraines.
They are hereditary from my mom's side and are so painful it hurts to breathe.
