Bananas

I brought a couple too many bananas this past week when they were on sale. I haven't ate them all yet. If I want to save them to make bread, muffins, etc...do I need to keep them in the freezer or fridge?  I wasn't sure if you could freeze bananas...

You can def. freeze them, I do all the time.  I peel them and pop them in a ziploc, then freeze.

You're welcome!  I only recently learned this myself.  They work fine (thawed) for baking or if frozen in small chunks, right into the blender for smoothies.

Currently freezing bananas right now as I type. Hopefully looking at making banana bread sometime this week.

I always freeze them peeled and cut in to 1-inch (ish) pieces, then they are easy to throw in to smoothies!
