Otterbox Defender or Commuter cover?

So, after my iPhone met its demise 3 weeks ago, I've decided to "splurge" and buy an Otterbox. I got DH the Defender on eBay last night for his (for $21) and am now looking for me.

Any personal preferences - Defender or Commuter? And I'm not girly girly, but what color would you get? (I'm thinking something easy to find in my black-lined bags/purses.)

Also, as an FYI - Best Buy insurance is AWESOME *singing*. DH has his through Verizon and has a $150 deductible for a new phone. Well, I have my insurance through BB, so I stopped in last night to find out about my deductible (smashed the face of my phone) - $0. And only 3-5 days for a new (refurbished) one to come in, and I get to keep my phone until then. Woo hoo!

I have the Defender on my 4S. It is sort of bulky, but I like that I don't really ever worry about my phone being damaged. It's still possible, but less likely. I also find it easy to find in my purse by feel because of the silicone outer shell. I got the

Defender! I went with that over the commuter because of the better screen protection. Dd dropped it this weekend on a sidewalk and it was fine:) it's a little bulky, but so far  fine with it. Also, I got mine on amazon for 17.99, let me see if I can

neither. bought the "smaller" of them (i forget which is which now) and ended up sending it back. hated it. will get a lifeproof case with my next phone. this one already had a coffee bath after i sent the otterbox back so i'm not entirely sure it's worth

Thx Gwen!! I got an email from the ebay lady for DH's case, asking about color. Turns out she had more than just black so I ordered another one from her last night in green.
