Help me with my hair color!
Since it's slow (as always!) please help me figure out what to do with my hair. I dyed it dark brown in November and it came out almost black, which was a mistake. I tried to dye over it once a couple months ago, but it didn't work. The color has faded so it isn't so harsh anymore but I would like to get some highlights to lighten it up. DH gave me a gift certificate to get my hair done (I usually dye at home, but highlights I'd definitely go to a salon).
What do you think of any of the options below? The middle pic is pretty much the color my hair is now. I'm not sure if all of these are even possible on my hair. Any other suggestions?

Ditto Jadey - I'd definitely talk to a stylist. Do you get your hair cut by the same stylist every time? they will have a handle on your hair type and your face, etc so may be able to provide guidance with a color as well.
