Suprise Party Venues/ideas

So my husband's 30th bday is in December (right around christmas). For obvious reasons he has never really got the whole "birthday experience" even as a kid :( Coming from a family where birthdays were a big deal ( I even had a suprise sweet 16 ) I really feel like he deserves a big party that is about him for once (before we have kids and it's less about us and more about the kids) This is coming off a big more whiny then it was intended, however I just want him to know he's appreciated!

Anyone have any suggestions for venues/places in around Pittsburgh (think more North Hills) that will let you bring your own alchohol? Own Catering would be a plus too.

TIA!!

  • Rose Barn or Skating Rink at North Park? Community center or VFD? The wanting to bring your own food and alcohol is going to be your issue. I know the Franklin Park has a community center in Blueberry Park, Ohio Twp has a couple rentals, etc. Some you hav
  • Ditto Kris, you are probably limited with bringing your own alcohol and catering.  We just had our son's birthday party in the building at Evergreen Community Park in Ross.  You would need to do/bring everything, but it's a nice clean buildin

  • Thanks ladies!
