We'd like to set up our office as a small office, playroom, tv room. Our futon is too big for the room so we're giving it away. It needs to be comfortable enough for adults to use a sofa but only children or a tween would use it to sleep on. It needs to be no longer than about 60 in long, preferably less.
Ikea had some that l were perfect but one had horrible reviews about comfort. This is still in the running but DH is concerned that it doesn't have any arms : http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S49840091/. I think it'll be fine.
I've checked Walmart, JCP and overstock. Where else should I look? I'd rather not buy this item from CL. I'd prefer either futon style mattress or even flip sofa over a typical mattress on springs that a sofa loveseat has

We have had this (in a deep blue) in our office for about 4 years. Still in great shape

a little pricey though
i'm not a fan of the no-arms thing...
they do have loveseat and "1 1/2 chair" sleepers. that might fit better in your room. personally i LOVE oversized chairs to curl up in...and i'm pretty sure they fold out to a twin.
