My cousin recommended them to me, but I havent read on yet. What are they all about?

Not Big A, but I love these books. I'm on the 4th one and I know Trinity and B$ read them.
They are about vampires, there's an elite group of warriors (Black Dagger Brotherhood) that protect the rest of the vampires from "Lessers"
I have read and loved all of them and Mana's explanation is spot on.

getting my library card was one of the best things I did for myself! I love being able to get books and audio books and not have to buy them! sure there is a wait sometimes, but who cares if they're free.
