landscape architect rec?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a landscape architect or know some students who are in this field of study and willing to design something?

ETA: We are willing to do most of the work with planting and putting fencing in, but we need ideas.

Background:

We live in a row/townhouse and have a pretty small space. Our backyard consists of a porch and a cement slab large enough to park a car on with a bit of grass/dirt. On the side of our house is more grass/dirt, and a Japanese maple ( I think). Our house sits on a main road. The back yard and part of the side yard is fenced. Also, part of the side yard doesn't get a lot of sunlight and I am not sure what to plant here.

I'd like to do something with it, but I am not sure exactly how to best use the space. I don't want to invest a lot of time/money into the space and decide that I hate it. We also don't have to worry about an HOA. We have about 3,000 square feet to work with, so pretty small.

Thanks!
