iphone on T-mobile

T-mobile is now (finally) with Apple.  Does anyone here have an iphone on T-mobile's service?  How is is the service and reception?  If you use an iphone with another carrier, please give me your feedback.

I have a contract with T-mobile and 4 phones until September so if I break with them I have to pay $800 in cancellation fees :-O.  I have contacted customer services several times and there is absolutely nothing I can do.  I want to upgrade to iphones because our older androids suck and we need the manageability apps.

F.Y.I the 4 phones are for myself, my husband (who uses it for his business lines), and my disabled parents.  DH and I pay the bill.

My parents don't qualify for any public assistance.  My parents don't want to collect disability from the government because they believe that there are other people who need the money more.  So I have no problem paying the monthly bill.  They do a lot of volunteering and go on missions to stay active.  They both have debilitating rheumatoid arthritis and must stay active to ease the pain.  I want to thank them for their values and services to the community.

So I'm looking for the best iphones on the most cost effective service.  Verizon is not an option because we have had major issues with them before. Thanks in advance

Anniversary

Re: iphone on T-mobile

  • I have been with T-mobile for close to 15 years.  We have 6 devices on our plan. The first iphone was just added yesterday. So far the reception hasn't changed from the other phones that we have used.  I think it depends on where you are for the reception.  I lived in MN for awhile and parts of MN had good service, but other parts didn't.  I now live in CO and I find that I have cell service almost everywhere out here, so the service has been better.  I have been noticing lately that we have had some issues will bills, replacement phones, ect and their customer service has gone down hill from what it used to be.

    Good luck with your decision!

  • You might just wait until September, which is not that far away, and upgrade to iPhones then. There might still be some kinks to be worked out by iPhones on T-Mobile's network anyway, so waiting until September might be a good idea for that reason as well.
  • Two new reports are getting popular regarding the launching of Apple iPhone 5c and 5s that Apple is going to launch its new i Phones soon, if these reports are to be believed. so i think iPhone will be the best choice.
