Post your Mother's Day plans here
What are you planning on? Bonus points for links or pics
I graduate from my grad program that Saturday (woohoo!), so both mothers will be in town. I plan on doing a late breakfast for them Sunday and I'm mulling over my options. Everything needs to be made-ahead on Friday since I'll be busy
I don't seem to have a good spring vegetable quiche recipe - anyone? All my tried and true quiche recipes do tricks, and I just want something simple this time.
Re: Post your Mother's Day plans here
Hi! Congratulations on your graduation. That's awesome.
Re: Mother's Day, we're in "guest mode" that day. My IL's have reservations at a restaurant for everyone.
Wish I had a good spring quiche recipe for you... I still make that Onion Corn Bake you posted -like two years ago. It can be prepped the day before and is awesome. Let me know if you need a copy of it.

Congrats on graduating! That's always a great feeling

We are hosting my husband's family for Mother's Day. There will be about 18 of us, and since the weather is finally starting to warm up, we've decided on a BBQ. It will be the first one of the season, making it extra enjoyable.
Get togethers with his family tend to be casual. We'll have grilled clams, burgers and hot dogs, and some sort of cheesecake or strawberry-based sweet. Other siblings will bring some sort of veg (prob a veggie tray), a dip, and a starch (pasta or potato salad). And we usually end up with several desserts, which I never complain about.
As for drinks, it will likely be wine and beer, although there are a couple of sangria recipes that I have pinned.
We're having dinner at DH's aunt's house and I am making the food. We've done this before, and it worked great, as I like to cook, and she would rather clean and prep the house for guests. Win-win!

I will be going to my daughter's to celebrate with her, her partner, and my 19th month old grandson. Can't wait!
Also, Congratulations!!!

Hope you enjoy it.
Congrats on the graduation!! What about the party?
We had my son's baptism on Mother's Day. It was fabulous. We ordered lunch meat sliders and a cake from Costco. I had a huge sushi tray, fruit salsa and cinnamon chips, veggie tray, cheese tray with grapes and dried apricots, tortellini skewers, and I made some toffee things. It was a lovely day and I'm still a little amazed at how little was left over.
