JulieJewels update....

JJ asked me to update you all on her current situation...

she was readmitted to the hospital yesterday after she went for her weekly cervical check and OB found she was 3cm and her water bag was bulging!!

She's in labor & delivery and is pretty stable now..they are doing cervical checks and she remains at about 3-4 cm but is having irregular contractions. They've given her mag (which BLOWS)  but is doing well.  She is on complete bed rest at the hospital and is having some back spasms which they do nt think are contractions.  She is at 27 weeks today and they hope she can keep doing as awesome has she has been for 3 more weeks.  They are concerned because her BP is a bit higher than normal so they are doing a  24 hour urine catch. They also did an EKG and leg ultrasounds to rule out blood clots because her heart rate has been elevated.  They are hopeful that she can still have a V. birth which would be ideal so that she can see the babies faster.  They have also started administering another round of steroids for the little lungs to speed up their development. 

 She also wanted me to pass along how much she LOVED her care package and how much it meant to her!!! 

I will keep you updated as I hear from her... she sounds like she is in as good of spirits as one can expect but doesn't seem to have the best nurses this time around so that's making things a bit more brutal.

Thank you for updating us. I was just thinking about her last night and wondering how things were going. I had a bad feeling since she's been MIA lately. Please pass along to her that she's in my thoughts and I wish her all the best of outcomes. Remind her that if there is anything we can do for her, to let us know! We're all here for her!

Boo, I hate this update.  It sounds like she's in good hands though.  I really hope these babies stay put!

Thanks for the update. I wish it had been better news. Hopefully the shift change will get her some rock star nurses.

no, no, no.  Her babies cannot share a bday with DS because they will be cuter than he is.  STAY PUT!

I really hope she is able to keep them in a few more weeks.  Great job so for Julie!  You can do it.

Thank you for the update on JulieJewels. Those bebes sound excited to meet everyone, but they have to just HANG TIGHT!  Sending T&Ps for a few more weeks of bedrest (even if it may make her stir crazy).

Oh poor Julie!  What a terrible thing to have to go through, especially with sucky nurses.
