Color Combo...
Okay, this may sound totally and completely nuts...but here it goes.
My boyfriend and I just moved in together (very awesome, very exciting) and in my old apartment, I had my bathroom in a grey and purple combo. I kept the shower curtain (which is grey), and the floor matts (which are purple) but all my towels suck, and so do his. So I sort of want to stay with the purple/grey thing, but I also want purple and grey to be my wedding colors. (yes bf and I talk wedding and marriage on a regular basis, we just aren't ready financially so I'm not totally insane) I'm thinking I may just change the bathroom to a grey/green combo (more manly?) but I feel like its second best to what I really want, which is the purple/grey combo. However, I don't want to get married and have either my bf or people say things like "this is the same colors as their/our bathroom". I know this sounds totally crazy, but what would you do? by the way, our bedroom is yellow and grey, so green or purple can go with that easily.
And sorry if this is just crazy and I'm worried about nothing.

you are over estimating how much people would even notice or care about something like that.
you obviiously like those colors, thats why you're using them for your wedding and use them as decor...
now that i think back, my towels are sage green and so were my bridesmaids dresses.............uhoh!!

i LOVE grey and yellow and white...maybe do grey with just a little purple and more white accents in the bathroom. less purple but only IF he's complaining about it or really cares about it. He might not
I think you're right. I'm overestimating people's attention to minute details. I think the only reason why I really thought about it, is it is something that I would have noticed about someone else. lol. And I'm thinking I have free reign (to a point) in the decorating department of the place, because I'm basically giving him the entire basement to do what he wants with. Partly because he will be running his business out of there, but partly because I'm originally from a state where we don't have basements, and I have no idea what to do with one lol
