Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

When you make american chop suey, do you make the soup as the directions say or do you use it undiluted?? So it's saucy?

  • I just open up the cans and dump them in and stir.  Are you going to try it?  It's how my Grammy makes it and other than her (and now me) no one I know makes it that way.  It's hands down my favorite!
  • I am going to try it! I always have an issue with american chop suey not being saucy enough for me.... and I think this is exactly what I need. I just made some at the beginning of the week, so I will wait a little while, but I will let you know how we like it.
