My sleep study machine is a chest strap, finger oxygen thingie, and a nose thingie! Now let's see if I choke myself with the cords while I sleep...

Re: *xxJen*
My finger thing was fine. It was rubber and was comfortable. She said if it slipped off to attach the cord to my wrist with a bandaid. But I was ok without that. I just was afraid to roll and wrap a cord around my neck... so I would lay on my right side, then back, then left side, then back. I'm pretty sure I usually just keep rolling in one direction.
The annoying part was the nose thing. OMG did that bother the crap out of me. At one point it was whistling when I breathed.
I kept dreaming I took it off, and I woke up and it was still on. Finally at 6am I took it all off. 8 hours seemed good enough, I usually just doze between 6-8 anyway (I read, play on my phone.... sleep some).
Night 1 done, two more to go!
I looked up CPAP masks, those would be ok... this is like a rudder tube across your face, with 2 little tubes that go towards your nostrils, and two longer tubes that go down past your lips. Lady said I could cut them. She did but then it pokes your upper lip.
Eh I'll see if this is what's going on and go from there.
