I drive a lot for work, and lately I have found myself so annoyed with the radio. I hear he same songs on almost every station. My old job had Sirius/XM, and I loved it. I considered getting that but recently considered just getting a new iPod (my old one is so old and messed up it probably doesn't work anymore). Which is a better idea?
Re: iPod or XM?
We have Sirius in our car, and we really like it. Our favorite stations are the 80s and 90s. I think I would listen to talk radio, too, if I were in the car longer.
I've never had an i-pod. When I really want to listen to a song, I play it on YouTube.
I've had Sirius for several years now and really enjoy it. The only thing is their billing process and customer service is terrible. I've cancelled a few times but keep coming back when they offer a discounted rate. Never pay full price.
Thats what I do. I drive about 6-8 hours a day some days. I flip through the stations because my favorite station gets really repetitive or I go out of the listening area. I loved having the Sirius at my old job, but I thought of a new iPod for those times when I want a specific song. Thanks for the tips about not paying the full amount for Sirius.
