What new things are you up to???
Alex: Can you believe our girls are 6 months old today?!?!!? Wow! We have our 6 mo appt tomorrow and I'm looking forward to checking out all her stats. She loves sleeping on her tummy now and she loves standing(but we have to hold her torso so she doesn't flop over. lol). And if we stand her on the floor and hold her hands she'll take a few steps. We still can't get her to sit on her own though. LOL.
I read your post the other day about Taline waking up with 2 teeth! Did she give you any indication that they were coming through or was it a surprise? I'm curious because Allison has been acting kind of "toothy" and I'd love to know what(if anything) to look for.

Happy 6 months Allison!!! We're doing really well. We went for her 6 month today. 18.5 lbs, 26 inches. She's just aching to crawl but not getting anywhere yet. She just rocks and rocks and then belly flops in an attempt to throw herself forward. We're also starting veggies this weekend. We've had a week of rice cereal and a week of oatmeal so far and those went well. I bought some butternut squash and zucchini but I'm not sure which one I'm going to make first. Are you starting Allison on solids now or did you already?
As for the tooth. I didn't notice anything at all beforehand! My mom said she was drooling a TON the night before (she was babysitting) but she was searching her mouth and couldn't see any teeth. I didn't notice her being extra fussy or anything and we had just started the ferber method and she was sleeping better than ever. In the morning I was giving her cereal and noticed the teeth when she opened her mouth. She drooled a bit more for a day and a half and then she was completely back to normal.
