Need help with a sauce for chicken
Pretty much the only sauce I know how to make is a creamy white wine sauce with Italian herbs. This is a good sauce, but it gets boring when it is the only one I know how to make. Any ideas for another type of sauce for chicken (no red sauces though!)? Thanks!!

Re: Need help with a sauce for chicken
I have a gazillion cook books, but always check foodnetwork.com or hgtv.com for recipes. Search for "chicken sauces" and you'll get a ton. I just searched and got over 2000 hits. It also helps to search there with ingredients in mind. For example, chicken + peas + cream (if you have leftover peas).
Also, things can be added to any basic white sauce to make it more interesting. Different herbs can be used, different veggies can be added.
Here's one for honey sesame chicken that I really like. Plus, you can make it in the crock pot! -- http://www.tablefortwoblog.com/2012/02/21/crockpot-honey-bourbon-chicken/
