I have a colonscopy scheduled...and I just did the math. Best case scenario I'll be on the last day of my period. Worst case...right in the middle of it. I'm considering using OB tampons just to save me the embarrasment. But...totally stupid, I know...if there is no string, how do you it out???? ...I'm so humiliated that I even posted this.
Re: Do you use OB tampons?
When I had my colonoscopy (at 17... as if that's wasn't traumatizing...), I was on my left side during the entire thing. When you're getting ready for the procedure can you kind of pull the string forward?
And don't forget... they've seen it all.
