It's like we planned it
With Mother's day this weekend, I thought about what to do for Jeff for Father's day. We get the kids in June, so I was thinking of things to do with the kids and give it to him on Father's day. I couldn't remember if it was the 3rd or 4th Sunday, so I looked it up... WE HAVE THE KIDS ON FATHER'S DAY!!!! We get them the Friday before. We planned the week based on Thomas the Train being in Strausburg, not for Father's Day. Double score!
I was thinking about getting them to hold up a sign that said WE LOVE YOU DADDY, let them color it etc, take a picture of it and frame it. Then taking them to pick out something for him while the photo is getting 1 hour developed. Any other ideas?!
I told Jeff I was stealing the kids for a bit that Saturday and he's like Um are you going to be ok with Ryan alone?! I'm like it'll be fine, it's a short trip...

I am making Chris a "Man Basket". In It Im going to put, beef jerky, peanuts, pisatacios, gum, lottery tickets, money,and Cliff Bars.

I want to do something the kids can help with, so a craft or something... but I think a picture for Jeff's night stand would be good. Especially when he misses them.
That is great that you will have the kids that weekend! I think pictures are a great gift.
I'm lucky b/c DH and I decided not to do gifts for Mother's Day and Father's Day or birthdays this year since we are planning on buying a new patio set. Works for me!! I always have the hardest time with gifts for DH.
