Hey guys, i'm trying to figure out what the deal is with this: I keep getting motion sickness -- something that I have never experienced before (except in cars). I used to pride myself in never getting sea sick and I was dubbed "fish feeder" last year on my family vacation because (well, you can figure that one out)... But I have also been having problems on airplanes.
Can this be a problem with my ears? As I said, this has never been a problem before, until about 2 years ago it got extreme. I'm 25 years old ... is this something that happens in your mid-20s?
I'm supposed to go on vacation next month and we'll be on a boat for a day here and a day there... and I am terrified that I will get sick. I'm also terrified over the long plane ride to get there too!
Appreciate any help!
Re: What's the deal...
This is a bit of a stretch- but could it be anxiety related? I have a friend who never got nauseous when flying, but then after 9/11, every time she flies she gets very sick, shaky, and light-headed. She has to take anti-anxiety meds before big trips.
Could something have triggered this? Maybe a car accident or something?
