Weekend highs: shopping with mama, and finding summer clothes! Jeff telling me the way he sees me with his kids makes him want to have kids of our own. Sleeping, oh so much sleep!
Weekend lows: Mother's day made me wish we could TTC soon, but I will stay strong. One more year and we will be able to afford it. I shouldn't feel this way, Jeff and my parents made me feel good as a stepmom.
There really wasn't any lows except I was exhausted last night after all the running around we did.
Highs - the partially beautiful weather and the crabs we caught yesterday for dinner. I did get new running sneakers, new Nike slip on sandals for DS and new flops for DH all for $6.48 with the help of a gift card, Khols cash and a really nice cashier giving me her friends and family discount.
Lows- standing in the rain at 6am for 3.5 hours to sign DS up for football, dear lord that process was insane. DH and DS getting snippy with each other all day on the boat yesterday because DS cant sit still for longer than a few minutes and DH was trying to catch as many crabs for me as possible. Oh yeah getting up before my normal 5:30am wake up during the week both days sucked too.
Are you guys doing MOT football? I'm trying to get A to sign up, but he's refusing because he thinks he won't play as good as the kids that have been doing it for longer. He's telling me he will join fall ball instead.
We are sticking with Smyrna for now. If we move to Middletown then we will change leagues, but Im not sure where we will end up or when, so for now we are team Smyrnadelphia!
Highs: most of the weekend was great. We had great weather in TX and a great visit with Grant. Hubby got me a Kate Spade wallet to match the diaper bag I'm getting and a baby carriage charm for Mother's Day.
Lows: not getting to TX until well after midnight...meaning after 1 our time...ah the joys of travel!
Highs - Spending yesterday with H and T - going to church and visiting family. My first Mother's Day!
Lows - T was in a terrible mood on Thursday and Friday - see blog post. And last night he was so tired that he couldn't even fall asleep so he was up half of the night. Of course, this morning he was a hot mess and a half too.
Weekend highs: I had a nice first Mother's Day with some family. We didn't really have any plans so it was a nice low key weekend.
Weekend lows: Nothing!
