I just got switched to it and will start using it next week as my dr thinks it will help w/my migraines as they are usually "that time of the month". Of course I may not be on it long since we will start trying in the spring (God willing if that stupid condo sells).......

I haven't taken it, I've been on Yaz and Yasmine before...I'm convinced that's what caused my weight gain after the wedding! That or the fact that I had 2 body wraps and then I was flabbier than I had been before. Anyways...I just wanted to comment that I LOVE Spanx too!
I don't wear it now, I'm sure it's prob safe but I don't want to take any chances! I wish that I would start looking pg instead of just pudgy...these pockets of fat have decided to take up residence on my hips, and they are not welcome! I mean, I know I'm going to gain weight, but I wanted it to at least go to my belly!

Lindsay, Spanx makes maternity!!!! Go to the website itself. Sara Blakely made the maternity version when her friends got pregnant and still wanted her product!!! I met her when I lived in ATL. She used to give out her samples free at Komen races. Of course she doesn't have to do that now!!! I get mine at Target, the Assets version or when I find them on sale at Nordstrom or Chico's.
yep, so totally safe. Check out the website and they may even have it in Assets at Target (not sure though). You might have to order them off the spanx website but they have them, I remember!!!
hey katie..i was on it for about 2 years. i always started my period at about 2.5 months though instead of the 3 they promise...so i wound up having a light period for about a week and a half, then a full on one for about a week. i didn't like that so much...but those 2 full months w/ nothing were pretty awesome
my doc says some women's bodies just have a natural cycle to them and the longest i could go was 2.5 mos
i didn't have any other side effects though
