I don't know I was unimpressed. I wanted to also see Barney and robin get married already.
It felt like a crappy anticlimactic cliffhanger of an ending to me.
I changed the title to warn anyone that there are spoilers here
I was disappointed too... I wish it was an hour episode with more meat to it.
Also for some reason I pictured her as a blond and then when I saw the back of her head I totally pictured Rachel Bilson. Not sure why but I was let down when I saw her. I don't mean that in the offensive she's not pretty way but I was hoping for some wow moment.
I also feel really badly for Ted... I cannot wait until he can move on. I hate that he keeps giving himself hope. probably because I was ted for years!

and I agree, I wish the story had gone a bit further than just seeing her.
ETA- I just looked up her picture... i think she looks like Robin and Lily's love child.... she is a mix of the two of them! it is very strange but it works!
I also find it pretty hard to believe that Marshall is a judge... didn't he just graduate from law school like two years ago or am I totally messing up the time line.
I really think the Ted/Lily friendship is wonderful... I never liked her in the American Pie movies but I absolutely love her on this show. She is so silly and crazy that it is refreshing. Still not sure where I stand on the Barney/Robin marriage... do you think the wedding will actually take place?

I love lily. But I loved Alyson Hannigan since Buffy.
I feel like I don't even care about this show anymore but have to finish it out because I've been watching for so long.
I love Alyson Hannigan as an actress but for the most part cannot stand Lily as a character. Robin Scherbatsky all the way, man. Anytime there are Marshall/Robin scenes, the are my most favorite.

I didn't watch it on Monday night, but I do watch/know the show. I am shaking my head and laughing at my stupidity.
oops. I watched the whole series in about 6 months so I guess it blurred together. I didn't think his graduation was that long ago. Oops.
I like robin more as in I'd be friends with her but I think lily can be really funny. Marshall is by far my favorite character.
Finally got to watch it last night. I was an episode behind so I also had to catch up on last weeks episode as well.
I was expecting the mom to be a brunette (probably because both kids have brown hair). I thought her reveal was not at all exciting after waiting so long but I am happy it was a new character and not someone from his past.
re: Marshall becoming a judge-it would totally never happen that way but I did laugh at "I'm not good at making big decisions." "Are you sure you want to become a judge?"
