Have you heard about the 4 month wakeful period?  I first saw it in my BMB.  Apparently, it is common for babies to wake up alot because of the cognitive developing they are doing.  That's why we decided to sleep train then.  Our pediatrician was fine with it although some say to wait till 5 or 6 months.

  • I've never heard of that! It would certainly explain a lot. I'm going to look it up. Thanks!

My dr. said to wait until 5 months because that's when they can regulate their blood sugar. However, if T has been sleeping for extended time before, I'm sure that's not the issue. Do the ferber CIO! It took us 2 nights!
