I hid out at my parents' and just got back to Stillwater. All clear today in both cities, but I'm scared about tomorrow.

All good here, but we had one a little too close for comfort. Thankfully we didn't have any damage. We had the funnel over our house but it hadn't touched ground yet. DH and his friend were outside checking everything out when they saw it. They ran back inside and we sprinted for the cellar.

 I hope those of you in Newcastle/Moore are okay.  I am sick over all of the lives lost, pets running around confused, horses taken out...those poor children.  I am devastated for the parents that don't know if their child is trapped and alive or dead.  Looks like today will bring a lot more info. Just hope some of it is positive in all of the darkness.  Donate if you can--plenty of places and ways to do it!!!

You guys, that was my old neighborhood in Moore. We lived right at SW 149 and Western for three years until we moved this summer. I'm just sick about it. So many prayers for them. All our family and friends are safe.

The tornado in Edmond on Sunday touched down two blocks from my house. Our home is fine, but the streets south of us had tree and roof damage.

I don't really know exactly where everyone lives, but I think it's all the same general area. I hope all of y'all are okay!

This whole thing has just made me sick to my stomach. M's daycare is off of 134th in between Western and Santa Fe. Thankfully it's on the other side of the road so it was to damaged. But she does have a lot of friends and teachers who live in those neighborhoods. It just hits so close to home since we spend a lot of our time in a,lore especially that street. We were just at the Warren Friday night and one of our friends just had their baby at Moore Medical last week. It's shocking that this has happened and I can't wrap my head around it. But it is amazing to see how everyone has starting helping and donating. It really is wonderful to see how generous people can be.

Several houses in our neighborhood were damaged, but we only have very minor stuff to deal with. The neighborhood immediately west of us and across the street are toast so it must have crossed the street right at our neighborhood. I'm feeling very fortunate and also helpless today. 

 

I hope all of you are safe.

So glad to hear it missed y'all Wendy.  We were frantic wondering if some of our friends in your hood were safe.  Thankful there was only minor damage.

So glad everyone that checked in here is ok. My cousin's kids' (they were the flower girl and ring bearer at my wedding) neighborhood was demolished. Their house and car are gone. They attend Plaza Towers Elementary and were inside when it hit. They're both completely fine, thank God. So scary.

Dani, it hit RIGHT near your old neighborhood didn't it?

I'm glad you're okay and your house doesn't have major damage. I didn't know you lived down that way. How scary.

yes! Very close! It hit R's sister's neighborhood. Their house has minor damage but half of their neighborhood is just completely gone. It's so crazy how that happens.
