Keeping cinnamon rolls warm...

 **duplicate post from ML board**

Tomorrow is our 3 year anniversary. I wanted to make cinnamon rolls for DH before work, as a surpise for him. The only issue is, I go to the gym at 6 am, and then go straight to work after that, so I would have to make them around 5:00. He doesn't get up until around 8:30. How can I keep them warm after I cook them? I am not comfortable with leaving the oven on (worried that he might forget to turn it off before he goes to work).

Any suggestions? TIA!

  • have him wake up early and you skip the gym and enjoy them together on your anniversary.

    I like this idea!

But if that won't work for some reason, just leave him a note telling him to pop them in the oven at a low-ish temp for a few mins to reheat them.

I decided to make him some cookies last night while he was at school instead and will give them to him tonight after dinner. Good thing, too. I woke up almost 30 minutes late!!!
