Since the board has been a little slow, I figured I'd come up with a topic to discuss
Do you do any gardening? Veggies, Fruit, or Flowers?
What are your favorite flowers to plant?
Any tips on gardening?
*H and I have some flowers in pots right now, and are planning on planting bulbs this weekend in the ground. But, we want to know, which flowers last all summer? And are easy to take care of?
We have mainly just Petunias right now, because we seem to have good luck keeping them alive all summer.

I have a flower pot on the deck of our apartment, if that counts. But I have big plans for when we move into our house- lots of flowers, and strawberries, lettuce, and cucumbers are a must for me.
What are your favorite flowers to plant?
I like impatiens, hydrangea, and tulips
Any tips on gardening?
Nope- we'll see how I manage, lol

Impatiens will last all summer and are pretty durable.
I so don't have the green thumb! But, I did plant some flowers over the weekend, along the walkway. We already had hostas, which is a nice green plant that comes back every year. Some have little white flowers. In between those, I planted petunias and some other stuff I have no idea what they were. I also planted a hydrangea bush. I hope it takes and grows nicely. Those require a lot of water. I also did a planter in front of the garage with geraniums and some left over petunias.
I actually went to a local greenhouse (not Home Depot or Lowes) for advice and they have better plants. That would be my tip.
What are your favorite flowers to plant? I've already made H promise we can have a lilac bush one day!
Any tips on gardening? None. So far I've been unsuccessful with keeping indoor plants alive. I think in the future we'll have a garden and keep the rest of our yard minimal. I can't see either of us keeping up with anything too extravagant.
