anti-aging cream recs?

Hi all,

Just wondering if any of you use anti-aging face cream and if you think that it does anything. Are there any cost-effective brands out there? I don't want to break the bank.

Thanks!

Re: anti-aging cream recs?

  • Within the last 6 months I started shopping at The Body Shop for face creams etc.  I am really happy with the products I have tried so far, and their on-line customer service is amazing.
  • I love Mary Kay Timewise Age-Fighting Moisturizer. It comes in a formula for normal/dry skin or combination/oily skin.

I use it in the morning under my mineral powder. One bottle is 3 oz. and lasts me about 2-3 months when I use it daily. It's $22 before tax.

Although my skin is more normal - I do use the combination/oily formula because I think the normal/dry formula has too much moisturizer and feels greasy on my skin.

I've been using the Olay Regenerist serums, both for the face and the eye area.  I use them in the morning under my makeup, and at night before I go to bed.  They are somewhere between $20-30, and last me a couple of months.  CVS will give you coupons pretty frequently once you start buying them, Amazon has them cheaper than CVS, and you can buy double packs at BJs.

  • If you want to go for creams and surgeries as your anti-aging remedies, you have to make sure that you do not simply fall victim to expensive anti-aging remedies. There are many providers of solutions to fight aging, but most of the time, it is too impractical to go for the expensive ones. There are still those providers of services and products that are within your means.form last one year i mostly shoppe from lovelySkin store and get discounts too,

  • The best anti aging? No tanning/sun haha It the #1 cause of aging.  Smoking too.  Another thing is doing a series of chemical peels. normally 6 over the course of 6 weeks depending on how sensitive your skin is so not too intense please. A local spa will have some nice options.  Do not do peels in the sunny months cause it can cause dark spots.  Peels help the newer skin underneath come to the top nicer and take all the dead skin off. I'm an esthetician and have given and received peels.  It was a nice addition to my skin care routine.

  • Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum. I started to get crinkly eyelids and crows feet and my Esthetician recommended this. It started working in a couple days seriously, so awesome. You can use it on your face, chest and hands and can wear it under your make up and at night. Its awesome!
