This is late, but what has everyone been up to this weekend? What are your plans for the rest of it?
Friday: made buffalo chicken pizza and relaxed. It was the last day of school for me!
Saturday: walked to the farmers market, went grocery shopping, cleaned and hung out with DS.
Sunday: Target run and more cleaning and hanging out.
Monday: No plans, but my parents are coming to visit on Tuesday and we are going to the zoo!
Unfortunately DH has to work all weekend.

Re: Weekend plans?
Friday was our 5th anniversary. We drove to Chicago (for a 3 night stay) to celebrate. We were stuck in a horrible traffic jam on our way into the city and were so tired of being in the car after that, we checked in, went out to lunch, then chilled in the hotel the rest of the evening. We got room service for dinner and it was disappointing.
Saturday we grabbed breakfast then went to the Cultural Center to take a free tour of Millennium Park. Grabbed a quick lunch and took an architectural foundation river boat tour. Had deep dish pizza for dinner then went to Navy Pier to see Cirque Shanghai and fireworks.
Today we grabbed breakfast and went back to the Cultural Center to take another free tour. After lunch we took a 3 hour segway tour through the city. Just got back from dinner now and probably just hanging out tonight.
Tomorrow we are just grabbing breakfast, working out, trying to find a place to buy a local beer we tried and liked while here, then driving home.
Friday, I worked.
On Saturday morning, I had an early meeting about our summer swim/tennis day camps, and then I took my younger brother to the farmer's market (his first time). I bought some veggies, Ghanaian stew, and some amazing baba ganoush. Then I coached at a swim meet before going out for a late supper with my husband, dad, and two brothers. We had vegan Creole and Cajun cuisine--very interesting!
Today, we went to church. Since then, I've made pitas (to go with the baba ganoush!), went grocery shopping, and have been catching up on Arrested Development.
Tomorrow, it's back to work!
Friday: went out to Cuban restaurant with DH
Saturday: watched "Mama" and "Die Hard"/lunch/gym/dinner and drinks near home
Sunday: worked on blog, gym, two birthday parties
My Food Blog
Monday: manicure and brunch with a friend/errands/possibly Great Gatsby
Friday- worked til 1 then got my grocery shopping done. My DH and I grabbed at quick dinner at Friendly's since we had a gift card and then saw Star Trek
Saturday- it was nasty weather here. My brother and sister in law came over, my dh and brother worked down in the garage and my sister in law and i went up to the mall. They had other plans for dinner so my dh and i decided to get sushi.
Sunday- went out in the AM with DH for a motorcycle ride and then had a bbq at our house
Today- doing some laundry, hoping to take my dog out for a nice walk and a friend of mine invited me over for a bbq i may stop over at.
I'm late to the party! Friday DH and I went to the casino and tried our luck...didn't win. :-( But we didn't really lose much either because we're cheapskates.
Saturday I hung around most of the day because I had a migraine. We did make homemade ravioli to freeze for later, ordered dinner and watched a movie.
Sunday we put in our garden. We don't have much space, but I managed to fit one big beef tomato plant, one cherry tomato plant, one bell pepper plant, and three jalapeno plants (they came in a set of 3...wish I could've gotten 1). I also have a bush cucumber in a container, plus basil, thyme, rosemary, parsley, and chives. Then we did a flat of impatiens out front. *phew* I'm worn out just typing it, and I am definitely sore today from planting it!
Today we did grocery shopping and a bit of cleaning. DH is studying and I'm just chilling, glad summer is almost here.
