non-greasy eye-makeup remover?

Hi everyone! I wear waterproof mascara every day and I have yet to find an eye makeup remover that claims to be non-greasy and actually is non-greasy, and that actually removes the majority of my mascara. I have tried Maybelline and Neutrogena's "non-greasy" formula. Usually I end up using my facial lotion (Cetaphil) but I would love your recs. Thanks!

Re: non-greasy eye-makeup remover?

  • So this is a little oily, but I swear it's worth it because it's the greatest eye makeup remover I've ever used.  It's not like a grease ball on your eye.  It really removes makeup.  You do have to follow with a face wash.

ohh that's an interesting sounding product! I'm guessing you have used it... is the rose scent really strong?

No, it's not really scented. Made from rosewater and cucumber, yes, but it doesn't smell like much of anything.

  • The Mary Kay eye make up remover is not oily or greasy. It works wonders and it doesn't hurt your eyes and you really don't have to do much work to get the make up of either. Hope that helps!
  • You got some good suggestions on the makeup remover but I just wanna add...

Please don't use lotion around the eyes.  It will sit on the surface too long and over time causes puffiness.  (I'm an esthetican btw) The skin right around the eye draws product in towards the eye rather than straight down into the skin.  This is why we say to apply eye cream on the bone around the eye, not right under.  Oh and side note.  The molecules in face lotions and creams are too big to penetrate the delicate skin around the eyes (hence why it sits on top) eye products are made with smaller molecules so if we don't want crows feet, use eye cream not face cream.  Love you all!!!
