Re: Confession Thursday
I confess now that it's HOT out, I drive home barefooted. HI I'm a redneck.
MH is used to being a book widow.
So is mine, but that doesn't mean he stops whining about it! lol.
I confess that I too drive with no shoes on and that I want to confess work things but can't. I will not confess that I let my battery die on my Nook. This is because there is an extension cord plugged into the outlet right next to my chair that I use when the battery gets low.
I also confess that I HATE the whole home buying process. It sucks so bad. Housing prices are starting the creep up here. Taxes are high. Interest rates are going up. I further confess that I do wish this on my worst enemy...
Oh and one more thing. I went to the gym this morning and it wasn't that bad.
H complains all the time about me ignoring him for the kindle!! I tell him he's ignoring me for his phone and it's a moot point!
Seconded!
I agree. I fell in love with a house. It is literally perfect for us. We put in an offer on Tuesday and found out yesterday there were multiple offers and all bids had to be in by today at noon. We upped our offer to what we feel is fair, the house needs a kitchen, boiler, hot water heater and roof right off the bat. We haven't heard anything so I think that we didn't get it.
We found out the asking price of the house went up by $10,000 yesterday morning. Then at work H read about the interest rate increase. In my area, garbage houses are going for over asking almost immediately and I think to investors. How are young couples who need a home ever going to get a home in our market
And I live in Westchester County in NY. Our taxes are through the roof which make everything even less afforfable.
