A random that hopefully puts a smile on everyone's face
Totally random, but ever since my H & I moved into our house, we've become fascinated with all of the birds in the area. The week we moved in here, we noticed a pair of cardinals hanging around - there are tons of cardinals in the neighborhood, but we see this same pair in our yard every day. It's been almost a year since we moved in, and it looks like they built a nest now in these scraggly bushes along the side fence. The momma birdy is just sitting there guarding the nest. So cool...we are obviously keeping a far distance but I can watch from my window

They say that ducks are one of the few species that are monogamous....maybe they'll have little duck babies
I wish....we are actually in Barcelona now for holidays, but will see if I am able to get a picture when we get back next week. I know for sure the eggs hatched because we could hear the babies peeping, but I'm not sure how long they stay once they've hatched...so I hope they will still be there...
