High school graduation gift

Anyone know the going rate for a High School graduation gift these days?  I can't tell you the last time I was at a high school graduation party.

I'm guessing the rate is a little higher than since I graduated.

In our world you can never go wrong with $50 in a card.  Depending on relationship and all.  Kind of like a wedding- we would give more for people we were closer to, but normally, $50.

I have three coming up in the next two weeks, distant cousins, not really close,  they are all getting $30

I think 50 is just fine.

I think it depends on your relationship...my very close cousin I gave a 100 but if someone I don't really know probably between 30 -50.

We typically give $50. Unless, it is one of the niece's or nephew's graduating, then they get more.

Thanks all!  I was thinking $50, but wasn't sure.  It's a second cousin (my first cousin's kid).  So close but not niece close.  I should probably double check what my Mom is giving so I don't overstep her gift.  

I kept having high numbers in my head...but I think I was confusing it with college graduation.

So apparently I'm out of touch as well, just asked DH how much and he said 50 minimum  and then called me a cheap . Oops!
