What kind of pierogies do you make? We put cottage cheese and onion (yum!) in ours. Do you boil yours and then pan fry them? I'm so excited to "know" someone else who makes them. DH's family is of Polish descent, and that is a rare find in the South (at least where we live!)

Re: **Christy**
Me? (Hangs head in shame). I don't make mine from scratch. I just cook them.
My husband's coworker's family has a butcher shop and they also make pierogies, and those are the ones I make. I do boil, then pan fry with onions. My favorite are potato and cheese. I've never had cottage cheese. That sounds good with the onions.
Sorry to disappoint!
I just recently learned pierogies are pretty regional (I'm in NE Ohio).
