I smell fire.....

I have no idea where it is coming from, but I totally smell it. Too far for the Tea (Santa Barbara) fire, right? I hope it is a fire in a fire place....Yikes! It smells really bad outside.

Re: I smell fire.....

  • I thought I saw smoke earlier coming from your side of the mountains. It looked white, so I wasn't sure if it was smoke or clouds. I hope nothing is burning!
  • For once!  For once it's not at all breezy by me (the wind tunnel), so I can't seem to smell anything.  But I did step out on to the balcony and it smells like dirt outside...sorry, I'm no help.
  • KCAL said that LA air quality would be bad because of our fire. I thought that was an odd statement. But with wind gusts at times of 71 mph - it could have blown your way. Maybe?
  • Haa-like dirt. It is really strong. I smelt it just sitting here inside, so I went to look outside and I don't see anything, but it was super strong smelling, more than just a fire place fire.... I am just in shock with this Montecito fire....horrible!!!!!!
  • As I drove on the 134 this morning through Eagle Rock it gives you a good glimpse of the entire city and I saw lots of smoke in the sky...so it's making it's way up here....
