Re: Happy first year
**6.30.12** I have found the one whom my soul loves.
Ours is this Sunday! We don't have much planned, maybe going for a nice picnic with our 2 dogs, and then family dinner, as my husbands grandparents share their anniversary date with us.
Over the weekend we were in the grocery store and the cashier knows us very well and she says "my my its almost been a year! that's wonderful guys!" and i said "yup its been a year filled with ups and downs but its been a great first year" and she says "Well he is still very much alive, so he must be doing something right!" Made me giggle!
Congrats to all the other 1 year Anniversaries happening this month

I found it kinda odd that my husband's family wasn't very congratulatory this past weekend when I mentioned that we would be tasting our cake for the first time in a year. I know it was father's day and the emphasis should be mostly on my father in law but he was in the room talking with the men anyhow. Lol.
Has anyone else encountered this? My husband and I's friend who is our age kept telling everyone who would listen that our anniversary was nearing.
I wonder if it is more of a generational thing?
My husband's sister has been married for about 20yrs and his parents nearly 50. I suppose this is why they didn't seem to think much of our first anniversary.
It is hard to believe that it has been a year since we all got married. I have no idea where the last year as gone. H and I have had a busy year, we bought a house, moved, and renovated it.
Our anniversary is this upcoming weekend, and we will be heading out of town and spending the night at a hotel and sightseeing. I cannot wait to get away for a weekend.
It's going to be our anniversary too, and we're pretty much doing the same thing. We're having dinner tomorrow night, then heading to the beach for the weekend. Congratulations!
