Strawberry recipes

DH and I went strawberry picking today and picked 11 pounds (oops!  It didn't look like that much in the container!). So, needless to say, I'm in need of some delicious and creative strawberry recipes, and not just sweets!  Anything that will help me preserve is a plus, but uses for fresh berries are also welcome!

So far I have canned strawberry jam, made strawberry pie (from an earlier batch of berries) and made strawberry shortcake. I saw a recipe for canning strawberry-chipotle jam that I might try, plus a roasted strawberry buttermilk ice cream.  

Any other ideas?  Or favorite strawberry recipes?

Goes great on pancakes, waffles, and ice cream.  I also just like slicing fresh strawberries over vanilla ice cream.

Also you could freeze some to use in smoothies.

i have a strawberry risotto on my blog that's really great. link in sig. i also freeze them. i cut the tops off, lay them single layer on a baking sheet and put int he freezer. when they're frozen i put them in a ziplock bag back into the freezer. that way they dont stick together and i have flash frozen berries all winter. not as good as fresh but they wont go bad either.

Just try strawberry shake. Its awesome and its taste feels so good.
