weekend plans
So what is everyone doing this weekend?
I am babysitting tonight which isn't real exciting but it will bring in some cash which is always nice this time of year. It is just for one 2 year old so it should be pretty easy. I can also get some correcting done which is good so that i don't go into thanksgiving with any papers to deal with.
S is going to go christmas shopping. We are only doing the kids on her side of the family this year since money is tight for everyone. So that takes like 8 presents off the list. I actually took care of my mother, father, sister and sisters boyfriend on Tuesday. So all I have to do is get S's gift and the stocking stuffers and I will be all done. If S can take care of the nephews tonight then all I have to do is put together a rock and mineral collection for my nephew and we are all done. I think it is a world record. I could be done with my christmas shopping before thanksgiving!
Other than that we have dinner sat but not much else planned.

Re: weekend plans
No clue what we are going to do tonight. We were going to take them to the Science Museum (they have a thing on Friday nights where it is 1/2 price from 5-8) but both kids woke during the night with horrible coughs (L is on antibiotics for bronchitis.)
They have an appt for their flu shots tomorrow morning. One of our friends is coming in town for work, so we'll see him and probably go to dinner with him (to one of our favorite places pre-kids - hopefully post-kids it'll be just as good!) We are excited to see him and for him to see the kids - he hasn't seen them in a year.
Sunday is up in the air. We'll spend more time with our friend, go to lunch, play with the kids, do an errand or two, and gear up for Monday. Not too exciting.

Tonight K and I will have dinner together before I go to work.
Saturday - since HRC sent an email about the marriage equality rallies I will attend. I don't know yet whether I'll go to the one in Albany or NYC but I'll go. I think I'd feel like a bit of a hippocrit if I complained about my rights being taken away and then didn't try to get them back.
Sunday - grocery shopping and attending my cake decorating class.
Major Kudos to you Sam for having your shopping almost done! So far i've only gotten T's. We will probably do the rest of our shopping on black friday.
The Cold/Flu bug that has been making its way around my household and my office has finally caught up with me and boy does it suck! I'm still working but as soon as I get home tonight its on with the pjs and I will be watching movies on the couch with T.
Tomorrow we are going for a little spa time with my Mom. She and T will be getting massages and I will be getting a pedicure. I'm all about having cute feet over a massage any day of the week. Then we will be going to my brothers birthday party Saturday night. Should be a good time! He plays in a local band and i made him this really great shadowbox with photos of him playing over the last few years. It came out pretty cool.
Sunday my step dad and i are going to be building a dog run in the garage (over the summer the dogs have had free reign over the entire thing) so we can put the kids bikes, and skateboards and pool stuff away for the winter. Also maybe there may be enough room for my car.
Sunday evening after the kids get back from spending the weekend with their dad we will go get our family photos taken for our Holiday cards.
We don't have any big plans as of yet I'm not sure if I want to spend this evening at the mall looking for a dress to wear to Jay's company holiday party or at Michaels and Linens n things picking up house stuff. We moved to a new apartment a little over a week ago so there's still some unpacking and organizing that needs to be done.
Saturday Jay is going in to work for a few hours and then we're going to the marriage equality rally at city hall. Sunday will probably be spent finishing up any unpacking that we've put off tonight and Saturday. Other than that we don't really have anything exciting planned.

tomorrow and sunday i'll be working on homework for most of the day, and she's working saturday night. her uncle is still in the sicu and we'd like to go visit, but the hours are really restricted so i'm not sure if we'll be able to.
Tonight, not much... just relaxing and prepping for tomorrow.
Saturday, my friend's baby shower! I'm excited, but nervous. I really hope it goes well and she's happy with it.
Sunday, not sure... maybe walking? More room stuff? Finally freakin relaxing since my two big stressers (biggest event of the year for work was yesterday, and the babyshower tomorrow) will be over.

Tonight is Girls Night Out! Going to watch my favorite band play with the girls... Nothing like hanging out with a ton of beautiful straight girls in their best dresses and hooker shoes. Just sayin.
Tomorrow my dad's family is doing an early Thanksgiving Lunch... So, I've got to cook something to bring to that. Get to see all the family and listen to them all call me "Season Greetings"... yay.
Sunday, we were thinking of going to the Renaissance Festival. IF it is not raining...
