Re: Manic Monday
Weekends highs: getting ready for the kids to come! Also mil had them this weekend so we got to talk to Lilly on the phone. She asked to talk to papaw George, my dad. So I gave my parents mil number and she got to talk to them. My dad is soo happy haha.
Weekend lows: too short. And ex won't tell us what time to meet her until Thursday. Which is such bs.
Highs - Our LLS fundraising campaign wrapped up. We raised $21,000+ and came in second!
Lows - We only "lost" by less than $50! Argh! Teddy was in rare form yesterday so I am totally exhausted today.
That is the cutest thing!!
There wasn't too many highs. The only thing that was halfway exciting was picking up our "new" car which is my moms old one. Greg's gas for work will now be drastically reduced.
Highs: I had a bit of a sprinkle- it was just a bunch of my close girlfriends going for mani and pedis...it was perfect. They to also got together and got my overpriced double stroller, which is awesome.
Lows: My grandmother is upset that the girls got the stroller. I had been avoiding her about the stroller because the one I wanted was $200+ and I really didn't want her to spend that. She doesn't know that I told them exactly which one I wanted, but now she's all bummed and doesn't think there's a good gift for her to buy- which is true- I am trying desperately to think of something big for her to get.
Highs~ It was a greaet weekend overall. M has decided that she is not afraid of the vacuum anymore which makes cleaning ALOT easier. I was able to clean the whole house this weekend.
Lows~ None
Highs ~ the rain held out for most of Saturday making Kenny tailgating much more enjoyable. Had a great time tailgating and the concert was awesome. And we picked up our nursery furniture and actually figured out what we're doing in the nursery and how we're converting our office to Grant's bedroom. We've been dragging our feet with this in hopes that we wouldn't be living here, but I decided we need to move along with the changes in case we don't sell.
Lows ~ my Grandfather ended up back in the hospital. I think he'll be fine, but its the second time in like 3 months for the same issue and it makes me nervous.
