As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Financial Advisor
DH and I live within our means but we want to save up for another house and pay off my student loans which are insane. I'm starting to think we need to go see a financial advisor to help make sure we are making the best choices we can with our money.
Has anyone ever gone to one? Are they expensive? do you have a recommendation for someone that you've liked? thanks!!!

I suggest that you look at meeting with a "fee only financial advisor." You pay them for their time, and they don't get commissions and/or percentages of your growth [or loss] of an investment.
