I am having such a hard time coming up with something romantic and fun to do for our one year anniversary, help!!!
Re: One Year Ideas??
We cooked out on our deck together for our 1st anniversary. At first I was a little afraid that it would be lame, but we both were so relaxed and had a good time. We didn't have to worry about a crowds or making reservations...so that was nice! It was a nice evening, so we just put on some music and ate and drank outside.
If you don't want to do that, what about having dinner where you had your rehearsal dinner or your first date? Or taking an overnight or weekend trip somewhere new but close by?
The only bad part was getting the year old cake out of the freezer...agh. Good thing I made another dessert just in case. Fair warning!
We had dinner at the Melting Pot (where we had dinner at the very start of our honeymoon) and spent the night in a hotel with a bottle of mead. The next day, we went to a science center because we're nerds. Some friends of ours just did their first anniversary at a zoo.
Incidentally, our year-old wedding cake was surprisingly tasty.
We decided to make the Melting Pot our anniversary tradition, so we've got reservations coming up next weekend since the actual day is midweek.
**6.30.12** I have found the one whom my soul loves.
My one year is next weekend, need to find a babysitter for the kid so my wife and I can have a date night. She wants to go see a movie and dinner. We might go to the movies first since I hate crowds.
We have been together for 9 years before we got married, lived together for 5 of those years and our son was one when we got married.
Nice hotel room, some candles, Rose petals, a bottle of Champagne and some sexy lingerie.
Have fun!!
had dinner at our wedding locale and then in honor of paper, gave him paper tickets to the blue man group, which he had been dying to see.
