2016 Clinton running against Chris Christy...
that's the prediction. Thoughts?
Re: 2016 Clinton running against Chris Christy...
My vote would go to Hillary but I kind of don't mind Christie, at least right now. I'm sure once he got the nom he'd fall farther right than he does now, like Romney did.
And at least he's not above slow jamming the news with Jimmy Fallon.

That's whose prediction?
In any case, I say not going to happen, on either count. Christie is too polarizing in his own party, surely loses too much of the far right to make any attraction for the moderates worthwhile. Does no one else think that Hilary comes with too much baggage at this point?
I think Hillary would win, but she has her age working against her too at that point.
I don't think Christie has enough support from his own party. And his weight will be an issue, even though it shouldn't.
I think any dirt that could have been dug up on Hillary has already long been dug up and rehashed over and over again.
I hope this is the matchup, though, because it would be a great race.
did you hear he got the lap ban procedure. that made me think that he was planning on running for president.
I highly doubt it will be a Clinton/Christy election. I have more faith in winning the lottery.
But, let's pretend your news source actually knows what it is saying. Repubs hate Christy so I can't see a show of force at the polls on his behalf. As bad as they hated Obama, they couldn't beat him with a paltry showing. Christy isn't going to rally the ranks to show up in force.
I don't think Christie can win the Republican nomination. Look at how horrid John Huntsman did in 2012. The Republican primary calendar and system is set up to reward more conservative candidates for the most part.
I feel like it's 50-50 if Hillary will even run. She sounded very tired of politics when she stepped down as Secretary of State. She's not a young politician. In her case it's more about her personal choice... if she passes its a wide open field, but it's probably hers if she does run.
Such as? Having been the Secretary of State, a presidential candidate, and the First Lady for 8 years, I think we can safely say she has been properly vetted.
I don't think she is going to run, though.
I seriously doubt this. Any dirt on her has been long since dug up. If it were out there, the GOP would have already found it.
I seriously doubt there will be any new revelations about Whitewater.
Benghazi *could* be an issue, but really, the American public doesn't have an attention span that lasts that long anyways and.... Oh, is there a new pic of Kim Kardashian up???
Gah!!!! and her new kid's name is North West. Vomit!
