How Evie spent her Sunday (pip)

My cat Evie has adjusted really well to our move. She used to hide under furniture all day, but now she is running around the house and even jumping onto DH's lap! Yesterday she discovered a new room in the house...

**this room smells nice... I think I'll check it out.**

Ten minutes later, I hear a weird dragging noise. I walk in the room to find this:

**hey, mom. This is my room now, see? All my toys are in it!**

image

a few hours later, I walk by and see this:

**I'm digging this plush carpet.**

I walk into her room and put some pillows down to read my book. She looks at me like this:

**Mom? What are you doing? This is MY room!**

image

When I cook dinner, Evie usually sits right behind me, to supervise. But she realized she can stay in her room and still keep an eye on me...

**Dinner smells good! But not good enough for me to get up!**

And this morning, as I was leaving for work, this is what I saw...

She loves that room! But I wonder how she will react when we turn it into our dining room...
