New to Norman (just moved in)!
Hi folks! My husband and I just moved into our apartment last night (well we still have tons to unload so if you know some strong men that wanna make an easy $10...) but we don't have any bedroom furniture (we need a dresser, 2 nightstands and a bed frame or headboard). Does anyone have shopping suggestions for that? Style wise we're shooting for black, contemporary or transitional kind of stuff.
Re: New to Norman (just moved in)!
Welcome! There are some ladies on this board who live in Norman also (me being one of them). I would check out Craigslist if you are not wanting to spend a lot. Plus there are usually some great finds on there. There are handful of furnture places in Norman, but there are a lot more in Oklahoma City. One place you might want to check out is Marquis Furniture. Here is their website. They have a place on Main Street.

Welcome! My husband and I just moved to OKC on the 8th of June so we're brand new here too. As for furniture, we went to Mathis Brother's furniture - they had a lot of pretty good deals on bedroom suites (dresser, nightstand and bedframe) in black and contemporary stuff. Another suggestion: there's an IKEA in Dallas. We drove down there one weekend (it's about a 3hr drive) and bought some stuff, threw it in the back of my car (laid the seats flat) and drove it back home. A fun chance to get together and have some fun
...as long as you're okay assembling IKEA furniture haha!
Welcome! My husband works at Mathis brothers. they have everything! all different pricing options! i'd definitely try there first!
Good Luck!
What do you mean that's the wrong side? Tastes great to me!
