Dining table redo/decor question.
Hello ladies, I recently got this very good deal on a yard sale for my dining table and I'm kind of wondering what you would place as a center piece. Mind you I may change the color as the current color is a bit worned out and I'm aiming more for a dark brown color and maybe redo the seat covers.
Below are two angle shots of the dining table: TIA

I always just keep a bowl of fruit or fresh flowers on mine.
Btw, I'd paint that black or white or a color, but not brown. Brown paint never looks cute.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
It definitely needs a refresh. I think that will help you style it. If you paint it, I would go with near black, oil base and make sure you prep first. If it is wood, I would also consider a dark stain. I personally like the minwax Kona stain, I used it on my banister.
The cushions seem to be in good shape, but they are a bit outdated as well. I would go with a neutral microfiber.
Thank you!
I was more aiming towards this dark brown color.

I may go with black, I'm not a big fan of white furniture.

Agree, stain looks much better. If you go black it doesn't matter as much, but that rich medium brown demands stain.
