My new mud room, kind of. Help?

So we had a garage fire last year, and now have to rebuild it, so we're making it bigger, and attaching it to the house (Yay!  Serious, yay!) And now I get a mud room/area, next to the side door in the garage.  I'm looking for any tips, ideas, etc.  I'm on Pinterest, I read magazines, but what do you have in your mud room that is a must have, or a brilliant idea?

Ditto huge sink!

A bench to sit to put on or take off shoes (bonus if it doubles as storage).

Bright ceiling task lighting.

Plan how the doors open so they don't bang into one another if there is more than one door in the space.

Tile floor.

A door to close the mud room off from the rest of the main level (keeps bugs out, keeps heat or AC in, closes off unslightly things from rest of home's decor).

Our mudroom/drop zone is located off our garage with pretty beige subway tiles.  It has 3 cubbies above the hooks (my hubby has been using to put his cycling helmet) and 3 cubbies below a bench for shoes.  There are 5 hooks.  It also has chalk paint so that we can label each cubby above the hooks.  We also have a tech center right beside the mudroom/drop zone where we put all the mail.  Think of the tech center like a built in desk that you can put a computer.  It also has many built ins above the desk that I doubt we'll ever be able to use them all and cabinet drawers as well.  Then right beside the tech center is our utility room.  A sliding door can close off the utility door from the mudroom and tech center.  There's also a door to close off the mudroom and tech center.  GL.  Our mudroom is probably my favorite part about the entire house.

I don't know if you have pets or not, but it is a perfect place for a pint sized bath or shower area to wash them.  It can double as place to wash dirty feet or boots.  Enjoy your new space!  @thiiiings
