Do I have enough food? Drink?

My youngest dd's bday party (Alice in Wonderland theme) is Saturday and I am worried about having enough food. We're expecting 12 kids, ?15 adults. Here's what I'm planning:

4 large pizzas from Little Caesars

Kroger tea sandwich tray (says it feeds 12-16 people)

2 boxes from Kroger (of course :--) of flat little sweet scones (maybe have jam out for this?)

1 party size bag of chips and french onion dip

Kroger fruit tray

Kroger veggie tray

Pink Lemonade

Little Apple juice bottles (for the kids...will have a Drink Me tag, it's an Alice in Wonderland party.)

Birthday Cake and Vanilla or Chocolate ice cream

I'm not 100% sure I'll have that many adults...I'm not sure if all the parents will stay or not.

The fruit and veggie trays are big so I think I'm okay there but wanted to know what else you think I should add to this.

TIA,

Sarah

Re: Do I have enough food? Drink?

  • Without changing your menu.

    I agree on more pizza.

I would also have another bag of chips.  You can always use them another time.

More drinks to choose from.  If I came to your house, I wouldn't be able to drink what you are serving.  If nothing else, do water bottles.

    Have fun and good luck!

  • Can you order another 2 sandwich trays and skip the pizza? Ordinarily I wouldn't say that, but I feel like the theme falls apart when there's pizza there with it. I think everyone's going to eat pizza and no one's going to eat your tea party food if there's pizza around.

Add crackers and cheese.  I know my store makes a wonderful spread with jarlsberg cheese that's to die for on crackers - ask your cheese department to try a sample.

The Kroger bakery has little boxes of petit fours that might be cute.

I might check out the deli case and see what kind of salads they have for another side - pasta or potato or something summery. I feel like you're missing a starch.
