DH tried giving me oral once right after we were married but was appalled by the smell and didn't get too far. Any ideas? It's been four years this June, and I just want to know what it's like. He has no other objections. He gets plenty of bj's so I guess deep down I'm feeling kind of jipped - he doesn't exactly smell wonderful but I like doing it for him.
So, any ideas on beautifying my lady parts and making them smell better?
Re: Smelly Vag
Have him try it again shortly after you shower, and make sure to rinse down there very well (soap isn't so good on the vulva, though). If you don't already, it may help a little to do some trimming and/or shaving down there. I've also seen/heard of studies that say men are attracted to the smell around ovulation, and may dislike it when you're not fertile. So if you're not on BCP that stops ovulation, you may have better luck midcycle.
If you've done all of that and don't have an infection, you should be fine. It's not going to smell like flowers or anything, but he should be able to handle it - many men even like the taste/smell.

"You know you're in love when you don't want to fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams." - Dr. SeussAny body parts are going to have a smell. That's how it goes.
It's not like you're not asking him to eat goatsht. Do you have some kind of disease? I don't get it. Do YOU think you smell bad?
You've been swallowing his load for 4 years, and no payback? I'd feel like crap knowing I turned him off that much. After 4 years, I'd probably be seething with anger and resentment.
The taste and smell is a huge turn on for MOST guys. Not "many" guys, MOST guys. And by that I mean EVERY straight guy I've ever known.
Sounds like an excuse b/c he simply has no desire to do it. Maybe 69 would be a compromise he could get into.
I'm surprised these guys are able to find wives. My god. Who the hell marries someone who is grossed out by her genitals? I would understand if he was gay, but WTF.
#1: Hair harbors bacteria, which smells. So shave it off. All off. I found that having a bush makes my vajayjay smell like urine sometimes. Not good. If you don't like the grow back, then just trim it really, really short.
#2. Your PH may be off. Use the Summers Eve Wash daily. It really, REALLY helps with neutralizing your skin and cleans away any bacteria. After I used this for about a week, I did not notice a smell anymore. In fact, I think I have zero smell now. I'd rather smell like nothing than something bad.
#3: Neither #1 or #2 will work if you have a yeast infection or a bacterial infection. So if you are itchy, you may need to be using going for the Vagasil first. And if that doesn't work, go to the doctor.
In summary, I would say the biggest culprit for smell is an off PH balance. The PH is different all over our bodies and it makes sense that you may need a different product to clean your vag.
